Zoleka Mandela (9 April 1980 – 25 September 2023) was a South African writer, activist, and Nelson Mandela’ ‘s granddaughter. She wrote about her addictions, her daughter’s death, and her battles with breast cancer.

Zoleka Mandela She was afflicted with breast cancer in 2011 and began treating it. But the cancer would appear five years later, in 2016, gutting her expectations. Her cancer was back and it was no curable it was terminal Zoleka even shared that she has made peace with the fact that she might not live long. After fighting so long to stay alive, on 25 September 2023, Zoleka passed away, leaving her 4 kids behind the youngest one is 1 year old.

A happened following the passing of zoleka. Yesterday people were left in shock after hearing that Zoleka left a list of people she didn’t want at her funeral. One of those people is her aunt Zenani, People ask themselves why would Zoleka ban her aunt from attending the funeral. But people realized that the family was not getting along. After it was reported that Zenani stopped Zoleka from being buried alongside her family members in the Mandela plot. Below is what was posted:

There are legal documents that have divided the family. They were forced to move the body from the estate to where the ex-husband had bought the grave. These were orders made by her very own aunt, Zenani,” a source told the publication.

Another source told Sunday World that a grave had already been dug for her the activist, but her ex-husband refused for the Mandela family to bury her there.

After this post was shared people started commenting and they were furious saying that is the reason why Zenani`s name was on this list.

Someone also commented saying to be honest all families have issues everywhere there was no need for Zoleka to write this list. You must allow some of the things to happen over your dead body for you to rest in peace.
