South African dancer Kamogelo “Kamo” Mphela rose to fame after a video of her performing to an amapiano song went popular on Twitter. She has used her Twitter celebrity to sing and dance her way directly into South Africa’s consciousness.
She genuinely got into dance and music when she was little. Kamo continues to dance and listen to music as he ages.
She already enjoys global fame. Kamo Mphela, who was born in November 1999, is now 21 years old. She is eagerly anticipating turning 22 in November of this year.
Her development as a singer and dancer seems to have been significantly influenced by Father Kamo Mphela’s father.
She used to accompany him to YFM when his father used to work there. She was found in that manner. Since then, she has succeeded in keeping herself in people’s minds.
Kamo Mphela first had success as a dancer. She had been popular on Twitter while dancing to a tune that she eventually became co-opted for.
She still hasn’t recovered from her dancing fever, though. She has been dancing her heart out instead, snatching parts in the productions of other artists.
For instance, she appeared in the music video for Busiswa’s song “SBWL.” Busi and her have previously collaborated on audio To date, Kamo Mphela has only put out two albums or extended plays. She had previously released “Twentee” in 2020, perhaps as a play on her age at the time of the release.
The total running time of that project, which included artists including Focalistic and Senzo Africa, is roughly 23 minutes.
“Nkulunkulu,” her most recent album, is actually her other one. Just 4 tracks make up this amapiano project, like the one before it.
Amapiano producer Vigro Deep, Nobantu Vilakazi 9umba, Reece Madlisa, Zuma, MFR Souls, Major League DJz, and LuuDadeejay are among the more impressive guests on the list. Fact: The project has a song with the same name.
By the way, “Nkulunkulu” has received a positive response. The project itself demonstrates Kamo’s artistic development.
