Senzo Meyiwa’s murder inquiry took a surprising turn this morning, as news details were revealed during a tense cross-examination.
Witnesses Mshololo and Mosia engaged in a heated exchange that shed light on various aspects of the investigation. Advocate Mshololo’s questioning aimed to challenge the level of attention Mosia had given to the case. She asserted, “I suggest that you didn’t have any other cases to attend to.” In response, Mosia disagreed, although he lacked concrete evidence to support his claim. Advocate Mshololo queried Mosia about the discovery of a bullet projectile. Mshololo stated, “Your testimony is that the door was left open when you left and others used it, correct?” Mosia admitted that he wasn’t aware of what transpired after his departure, entrusting the scene to the police.

Mshololo sought a direct response, asking if Mosia had indeed checked for any trapped exhibits. Although Mosia evaded a clear answer, the tension escalated.
