iReport South Africa gives you all the details of how to follow Orlando Pirates’ Caf Champions League tie in Comoros.
The stage is set for Soweto giants Orlando Pirates to make their return to the Caf Champions League after a three-year absence in the continent’s grandest club stage.
Jose Riveiro has the task of guiding Pirates to the next round of qualification as they take on Comoros side Djabal in the first of two legs this afternoon. Pirates have rich history in this competition as they were the first Southern African side to win the competition when they claimed it in 1995.
The Buccaneers also reached the final in 2013 where they succumbed to record holders Al Ahly. The only other side to win the competition is Mamelodi Sundowns as far as South African football is concerned.
