The South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has found himself embroiled in controversy on social media site Twitter after being accused of dozing off during Russian President Vladimir Putin’s speech at the Russia Africa Summit today (Thursday July 27), this comes after a video was posted on Twitter allegedly showing President Ramaphosa struggling to stay awake during the Vladimir Putin’s speech at the high-profile event in Russia.

The alleged incident has sparked a wave of reactions on social media and many people have expressed disappointment and concern over the President’s alleged conduct during an important diplomatic gathering, as the Summit aimed to foster stronger ties between Russia and African nations, Ramaphosa’s supposed inattention during Putin’s speech has raised questions about his commitment to engaging with international partners.
