Zandile Khumalo has been throwing bombshell of the day during cross-examined in Senzo Meyiwa’s Murder Trial. During the drawing of identikits she couldn’t describe the second guy. During ID parade, she could not identify the second guy and on day one in court, boom! An outburst directed at the second intruder.
The state tells the court that one of the Khumalo neighbours who had given a statement and was on the witness list passed away two weeks ago. State witness Zandile Khumalo is set to face tough questions in the High Court in Pretoria today as her cross-examination in the #SenzoMeyiwa murder trial begins. Ramosepele is running Khumalo through her movements on the 26th of October 2014 in accordance with her testimony.
After lunch, the accused lawyer, asked Zandie when she say she could’nt identify them because they were wearing masks,who she was referring to. Zandile Khumalo said she couldn’t identify the killers because they were wearing masks. She told the judge that in 2014 it was when the COVID-19 started. Zandi has been exposed of lies, COVID-19 started in 2020.
Zandi Khumalo – I’m referring to the accused. You must remember it was during covid-19.
Ramosepele: you testified that the second intruder was taller.
Khumalo: Yes
Ramosepele: You testified that the second intruders pointed a fire arm and demanded money and cellphones?
Khumalo: Yes
Ramosepele: what was your attention focusing on before you noticed there were intruders?
Khumalo: On Kelly who was sharing a joke.
Khumalo says when the fire arm was pointed she just froze and did not know what to do.”
Khumalo has been asked to describe the fire arm used by the intruder. She begins by explaining that she is not good with guns, but can say it was “small and dark”
