In the race for Maritzburg United player Rowan Human’s signature, Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly taken the lead, which will be welcome news for their fans. The latest rumors suggest that Human, who is a primary target for Orlando Pirates, has expressed a preference for joining Kaizer Chiefs.

Insiders have revealed that Chiefs are currently the front-runners to secure Human’s services, with a high likelihood of him playing under coach Molefi Ntseki, whom he has previously worked with in the junior national team setup. It seems that this connection has played a significant role in swaying Human’s decision towards joining Chiefs.

Moreover, the player himself has openly stated that he would be open to a move to Kaizer Chiefs. He has also mentioned that he is in constant communication with Keagan Dolly, who comes from the same neighborhood as him.

Following Maritzburg United’s relegation from the top-flight league, 21-year-old Human is eager to play top-tier football in the upcoming season. He has expressed his desire to compete in the highest level of competition, although he hasn’t specified a particular destination.

While Orlando Pirates had been eyeing Human as a potential signing, it seems that Kaizer Chiefs have made significant progress in securing his services. The news of Human’s preference for Chiefs will undoubtedly please their supporters, as they look to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.

As negotiations and discussions continue, it remains to be seen whether Kaizer Chiefs can finalize the deal and secure the signing of Rowan Human. However, the current indications suggest that they are in a favorable position in the race for his signature, potentially giving them an advantage over their Soweto rivals, Orlando Pirates.
