Julius Malema is a prominent South African politician and the leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) party. While he has spoken openly about his upbringing and his relationship with his grandmother, he has chosen to keep his biological parents out of the public eye and prefers not to discuss them.

Malema’s late grandmother played a significant role in raising him, and he often credits her for his values and political ideology. He was born and raised in Seshego, a township outside of Polokwane, in the Limpopo province of South Africa. He attended Mohlakaneng High School, where he reportedly met someone who became important to him romantically, referred to as the “love of his life” in your statement.

There have been several individuals claiming to be Malema’s father over the years. Malema has addressed these claims and expressed that he does not appreciate false claims or speculation about his family background. In the mentioned interview with Morning Live, he acknowledged that many people want to be associated with him and claim to be his father, which he finds amusing. Malema stated that it makes him feel “rich” that people desire to have a connection to him.

In 2012, a man named Samuel Manyapye publicly claimed to be Malema’s father, expressing his disappointment that Malema did not acknowledge him. However, Malema swiftly denied the claims and asserted that they were false.

Regarding the mention of Malema’s father being born in Zimbabwe on Twitter, it’s important to note that social media platforms can often be a source of misinformation and rumors. Without further substantiation or confirmation from reliable sources, it is difficult to determine the accuracy of such claims.

In his interviews, Malema has mentioned that his late mother and grandmother did not disclose the whereabouts of his father. Furthermore, he has stated that he has no interest in actively seeking out his biological father and prefers to maintain the privacy surrounding his family background.
