Wicknell Chivhayo, a prominent Zimbabwean business tycoon, has recently been in the spotlight for his lavish spending habits. With a reported expenditure of over R47 million on cars and rumors of purchasing a private jet, Chivhayo’s extravagant lifestyle has attracted regional attention. The latest addition to his opulent collection is a custom-made Gucci timepiece, costing a staggering R2.5 million. This article delves into Chivhayo’s luxury indulgences and examines his growing influence as a high-profile Gucci client.

Chivhayo’s social media posts have offered a glimpse into his luxurious lifestyle. After garnering media attention for his alleged private jet purchase, he recently shared news of his extravagant Gucci watch acquisition. In a now-deleted Instagram story, Chivhayo was seen visiting an exclusive Gucci store catering to elite clients. He ordered the rare G-Timeless Dancing Bees model, which is available in different styles, including a jewel-encrusted case and optional diamond-set bracelet. The price range for these timepieces starts at approximately R2.5 million, with some valued at around R4.5 million.

Chivhayo’s affinity for Gucci has positioned him as one of the brand’s most prominent clients in the region. His extensive collection of designer clothes further exemplifies his status as a high-profile spender. During his shopping trip, the Gucci saleswoman assisting him confirmed that he would likely become the first owner of the rare timepiece he purchased. Chivhayo’s extravagant purchases not only reflect his personal style but also highlight his growing influence as a trendsetter within the luxury fashion industry.

Chivhayo’s flamboyant lifestyle has not only made headlines in Zimbabwe but has also garnered attention across Africa. This year alone, he has spent over R47 million on an impressive car collection, which includes three Rolls-Royces 2023 editions, two Mercedes-Benzs, and a Ranger Rover. With his reported expenditures on luxury vehicles and designer accessories, Chivhayo has become a symbol of opulence and excess.
