African National Congress (ANC) veteran Tony Yengeni took to his official Twitter account earlier this morning (Saturday 17 June) to proudly post a picture of himself and three other people posing for pictures on a golf course, but as you can already expect, some South Africans on social media site Twitter were not happy after seeing the pictures of Tony Yengeni on a golf course this morning.
“June 16 golf ⛳..” – Wrote Tony Yengeni on Twitter.
Some South Africans on Twitter responded by criticizing Tony Yengeni for playing golf this morning while other political leaders across the country are celebrating and commemorating Youth Day, and other South Africans criticized the ANC veteran for allegedly having “capitalist tendencies” for playing golf during Youth Day celebrations and commemorations..
“Mara uncle Tony you don’t care anymore, you are having fun and playing golf on such historic day.”
“Capitalist and “Stellenbosch” tendencies”
