In 2021, Ike Khumalo was arrested last week at his Mondeor home. He was allegedly charged with six counts of inciting public violence during the unrest which flared up in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal.
Khumalo maintained that the State didn’t have a case against him. He said in the process he lost two cars because they have been repossessed and his relationship with his clients is compromised because no one wants to be represented by an advocate who’s been accused of inciting violence.
