In South Africa, Senior Advocate Sikhakhane is a well-known lawyer who has worked on prominent cases including the Marikana tragedy and the State Capture Inquiry. It is obvious that Ramaphosa and his managers would avoid having Sikhakhane close to their office given the scandals and claims that may possibly affect his image and trustworthiness.
Ramaphosa has been accused of acting improperly and committing significant infractions in addition to the concerns surrounding Mkhwebane’s suspension.
Ramaphosa’s image and trustworthiness may be further harmed by these charges, increasing the likelihood that he and his managers would avoid having Sikhakhane near their office. Ramaphosa’s political career and the ANC party as a whole may be harmed by the possible negative effects on his image.
In addition, Mkhwebane condemned the parliament for failing to follow the Constitution and publish a report on the complaint brought against Farafala, which he said contributed to Jomat Petterson’s murder.
