Many South Africans are yet to agree with Home Affairs Department on their decision to extend the controversial Zimbabwe exemption permit by six months, after it had previously extended it by one year and six months from the original date of official cancellation.

Reaction has continued to trail different social media platforms as South Africans express disappointment over the inability of Home Affairs Department led by Dr Aaron Motsoaledi to take decision that would protect the interest of local citizens of South Africa clamouring for the deportation of ZEP permit beneficiaries.

However, South Africans have massively stormed Twitter to vent their heartfelt dissatisfaction over the newest decision.

BREAKING NEWS: The Minister of Home Affairs Aaron Mostoaledi, has “unlawfully extended the ZEP” for yet another 6 months while unlawfully giving waivers to illegal Zimbabwean foreigners.

South Africans are wondering as to “What is that South Africa is owing Zimbabwe?” pic.twitter.com/orhgxmgSMO

This are some of the comments gathered below;

Compatriot: “I’m officially done with Minister Motsoaledi!!!

Patriots, we need 2ensure that we vote these people out of power in 2024 otherwise we will have no country to speak of!!!

To me, it’s crystal clear now, that they want 2 give them SA citizenship, it’s now painfully obvious”.

Mrs BK: “Home Affairs Department please retrench all your staff or better still outsource it to PSAF, we will do it for free. you can advertise the tender, collect the millions and we shall do the work of selecting the deserving from the undeserving

Your greed is killing South Africa”.

Phumzile Magubane: “Lets be real and don’t act surprised, this extension is not the first one patriots. And all we can do is tweet after each and every extension. Unless we DO something, we will tweet again in the next January to June extension next year until they action”.
