Former Eskom chairman Matshela Koko has said that ANC Secretary Fikile Mbalula may step down due to the lawsuit brought against him by the opposition.
AfriForum has authorized the gunmen to investigate whether Fikile Mbalula’s money for traveling to Dubai was their income. The matter rests on Fikile Mbalula’s head, but now it seems he is starting to gain momentum. Matshela Koko argued that former ANC secretary-general Ace Magashule could follow him on how the ruling party would do it. “The ANC may not have a Secretary General soon. That is if the Freedom Front Plus gets its way. Mbalula can be lost. Let’s see what Gerrie Nel does. Bulldog serves. I am sure Ace Magashule is watching with great interest,” said Matshela Koko.
There is an old saying that “every dog has its day”. It seems that Fikile Mbalula’s day has finally come to be held accountable, the way he called on members like Ace Magashule to be held accountable. Interestingly, many members of the ANC who present themselves as straight men have bones in their own rooms. It was only a matter of time before theirs was revealed. “He was celebrating when they came to Ace Magashule, now they are coming to him, they will take them one by one with their bad news. They will be really shaking wherever they are,” said one social critic.
Meanwhile, the ANC and the Premier of the Eastern Cape Province, Oscar Mabuyane are fighting for an investigation into the scandal of the failed diploma. He is one of the group accused of obtaining their credentials through fraudulent means.
uKhongolose may not have the secretary general soon. That’s if the @VFPlus has its way. Mbalula may have to step aside.
Let’s see what Gerrie Nel is up to. The Bull Dog 🐕 is on a mission.
I am convinced that @AceMagashule is watching with keen interest. pic.twitter.com/NZf2YkM9Ol
