Pitso ‘Jingles’ Mosimane is without any doubt South Africa’s most decorated coach if not Africa itself, he has won so many trophies and the only one in the country who has won the Total Energies CAF Champions League three times with two teams, ones with Mamelodi Sundowns and two times with the Egyptian giants Al Ahly who sacked him in 20222 after he won the league and the continental club competition.

However, being a great coach earned him badges that got attention from all over the world, he was offered a job in Saudi Arabia where his mission was to get AL Ahli promoted after they were relegated for the very first time in the history of the team, being and ambitious and a great coach he is, Mosimane delivered as promised and the team was promoted to the top league but his future is not guaranteed at the team since it was later reported that they are planning on bringing in a coach from Europe.

Despite the uncertainty of his future, the former SuperSport United and Bafana Bafana coach seems to have been going through a lot of challenges at that club, he has now revealed that he has gone for months without receiving his salary.

Reports emerging suggests that Mosimane and his team are considering taking the matter to FIFA as they have now gone for four months without getting their salaries, now to make matters worse, their futures are hanging on a thread.

“TimesLIVE has been informed by a reliable source close to developments, who did not want to be named, that the coach and his fellow South African technical team members — Kabelo Rangoaga, Musi Matlaba, Kyle Solomon and Maahier Davids — have not received their salaries in recent months. It is understood Mosimane’s representatives will turn to Fifa if the matter is not resolved in the coming weeks. The amount owed would now also include the bonuses earned for promoting the club to the Saudi Pro League (SPL), and for winning the second tier Yelo League title,”reports suggests.

Al-Ahli players were seen angry as they were crowned Champions of the Yelo league, they did not celebrate at all, they just posted for less than a minute with the trophy put right in front of them and then they walked away after some pictures were taken, they don’t seem to be happy about the possibility of Mosimane exiting.
