Former ANC secretary general, Ace Magashule is set to hear about his fate after Fikile Mbalula, the party’s current secretary general revealed that they will be releasing a statement soon.
Magashule is facing corruption charges in relation to the asbestos tender scandal which happened during the time he was premier of the Free State province.
For years now, Ace Magashule’s case has been ongoing. He claims that this is politically motivated as the National Prosecuting Authority has up to now failed to produce prima facie evidence to substantiate their charges.
ANC secretary general, Fikile Mbalula said the disciplinary committee has made a finding on the case of the former suspended secretary general Ace Magashule. A statement will be issued in due course today.
Mbalula said this while giving a feedback on the party’s National Working visit to the North West province. He said the ANC is alive in the North West province whilst there are challenges in the various regions.
“We will work to improve service delivery in the province and also the attorney general’s report on dysfunctional municipalities in the province,” he said.
North West province is one of those where issues of service delivery have forced residents into the streets.
ANC has been accused of failing to provide services to the people in this province, and this is expected to see the party suffering heavily in the upcoming elections.
