Economic Freedom Fighters leader, Julius Malema has hit out that the majority of black South Africans have been kept at the periphery to fight over crumbs.
Malema’s party has been calling for the unity of Africans for economic emancipation. The Economic Freedom Fighters have seven cardinal pillars and one of those pillars is for economic liberation.
Media personality, Sizwe Dhlomo recently stated that the economic freedom fighters are struggling to put across their message of unity in Africa. He adds that nevertheless, in terms of leaders, he likes Julius. It seems Julius Malema is responding to that by reiterating that Africa need to unite for a greater good.
Malema adds that South Africa is still being controlled by white monopoly capital, and the rest of Africa is the same. He said it is for this reason that he is calling for unity.
“We are not allowed to control the means of production till today. Our country is owned and controlled by white monopoly capital, and so is the rest of Africa. We Africans have been fundamentally kept strictly at the periphery to fight over crumbs,” said Julius Malema.
