The end of the season comes with many changes to a lot of teams all over the world, some teams start to restructure as they plan to do better in the next season, in some there is a player exodus where some players will be leaving to make space for the in coming ones and they will be joining other teams where they will get game time instead of staying in teams where they will not be playing at all.

Former Orlando Pirates holding midfielder Andile Jali has been going through a lot of challenges as his current football club Mamelodi Sundowns, he was frustrated due to lack of game time and his off the field life was starting to tarnish his dignity as one of the greatest players in South Africa, he was seen on social media boozing as if there is no tomorrow.

After having spent months without playing competitive football, Jali and his representatives have finally made a break through as they reached an agreement with Sundowns for a mutual termination of the former Pretoria University midfielder after he spent five years with the team.

According to a statement the team released on Saturday, the 2016 CAF Champions League champions have confirmed that Jali will no longer be part of their squad moving forward since they have terminate his contract.

“The contract between Mamelodi Sundowns and Andile Ernest Jali which was due to conclude at the end of the current season, has been terminated by mutual consent. The former Bafana Bafana international joined Sundowns in June 2018 ahead of the 2018/19 seasons, and has been at Chloorkop for five (5) campaigns. During his stay at Sundowns, the midfielder played 142 matches and has been crowned a champion five (5) times, making him one of the most decorated players in the PSL,” the statement reads.

Jali is the second former Bafana Bafana start to be released by his club following Mulomowandau Mathoho who also parted ways with Kaizer Chiefs after spending more than a ḓe aḓe with them, both players are clubless at the moment and people will be keeping a close eye to see where they will be playing their football next season going forward.
