The Senzo Meyiwa murder trial has been one of the most spoken about subjects on different media houses and social platforms, people of South Africa are eagerly awaiting to know who was responsible for the murder of the former Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper and captain who was gunned down nine years ago. Senzo was shot and killed during an alleged botched robbery while he was in Vorsloorus visiting his girlfriend Kelly Khumalo at her mother’s house, he went there with two of his friends Tumelo Madlala and Mthokozisi Thwala who have already given their testimonies at the North Gauteng High Court respectively.

The court has been surrounded by a lot of drama after Advocate Malisela Teffo was arrested in court, he went on to step down from representing the clients he was representing, citing that the court is abusing him, from there he was striked-off the roll but he is still causing drama at court, once again he arrive in court on Wednesday fully robed, he even went as far as disrupting the proceedings as he exchanges words with the presiding judge Tshifhiwa Maumela.

After advocate Zandile Mshololo told the court that Teffo is in court as a watch brief, Teffo stood up and insisted on addressing the court and the judge was not in the mood to listen to whatever it is that he wanted to say , he told Teffo to sit down or he will be removed since no watch brief has ever challenged or addressed the court, despite being warned several times, he did not sit until the judge was angry and he nearly had him removed from the court suggesting that what he is doing is a rude interruption of the court proceedings.

“This is a rude interruption which is unnecessary. There’s no watch brief here who has interrupted proceedings. Teffo sit down. If you address me I will make sure you’re taken out,” Judge Maumela said.

Teffo was insisting that he has been given instructions by the Meyiwa family and Orlando Pirates team. but that did not warrant him any rights to speak without being given the podium.
