Durban, KwaZulu-Natal – In a disturbing series of events, Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) has received distress calls from four women residing in Phoenix, Verulam, and Newlands, who have fallen victim to a serial masturbator who stalks them through video calls. The unidentified suspect, an Indian male, employs a staggering fifteen different phone numbers on separate networks to carry out his heinous acts.

The perpetrator repeatedly contacts his victims through WhatsApp Video Call, with his face obscured and the camera focused solely on his exposed genitalia. Upon being blocked, he swiftly switches to a different number and resumes his offensive behavior, often calling the victims at odd hours of the day and night. The relentless nature of these incidents has left the targeted women terrified and fearful for their safety.

In an especially chilling development, one woman, who resides in a block of flats, was forced to flee her home last night (Monday) after the stalker provided a disturbing description of her residence during one of their calls. The woman, fearing for her life, has not returned to her residence since the incident. All four victims have provided consistent descriptions of the perpetrator as an Indian male.

During a conversation with one of the victims, the man identified himself as Neal and claimed to reside in Phoenix, a suburb located in KwaZulu-Natal. This information, coupled with the repeated use of specific phone numbers, has given authorities some leads to follow in their pursuit of the suspect.

The frequently used phone numbers associated with the suspect are as follows:

068 4136 ***

061 1766 ***

062 6590 ***

063 4830 ***

Local law enforcement agencies have been alerted and are actively investigating the matter. Authorities are urging anyone with relevant information about the suspect or any other potential victims to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.

The incidents have sparked concerns among residents in Durban and the surrounding areas, with many calling for increased vigilance and the implementation of additional safety measures. Women, in particular, are being advised to exercise caution and to report any suspicious activities to the authorities immediately.

Furthermore, community organizations and activist groups have voiced their outrage at the disturbing acts, emphasizing the importance of solidarity and support for the victims. They are working alongside law enforcement to spread awareness, ensure the safety of residents, and apprehend the perpetrator responsible for these reprehensible actions.

In response to this wave of crimes, RUSA has also increased their patrols in the affected areas, working tirelessly to protect the community and prevent further incidents. They have urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity promptly.

The Durban community is standing united against this serial masturbator, vowing to support the victims and bring the offender to justice. The hope is that by raising awareness and collaborating with law enforcement agencies, swift action can be taken to apprehend the suspect and provide a sense of safety and security for all residents in the area.

Authorities are encouraging anyone who may have witnessed or experienced similar incidents to immediately contact the local police or RUSA’s emergency hotline. The cooperation of the public is vital in ensuring the apprehension of the perpetrator and putting an end to these distressing acts that have plagued the community.
