In a shocking turn of events, Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has been left INJURED after an appalling attack by irate Amakhosi supporters in Rustenburg.
Following the disappointing 1-0 defeat to SuperSport United on Saturday, 13 May 2023, fans took their anger out on Zwane by hurling a glass bottle at him. This horrifying act resulted in a nasty cut under Zwane’s eye.
Unable to attend the post-match conference due to the injury, Zwane had to seek medical treatment instead. Thankfully, no additional injuries were inflicted upon him during this terrible incident.
It is crucial to emphasize that this shocking violence exhibited by Amakhosi supporters is completely unjustifiable. The disgraceful act of pelting Zwane with several objects not only tarnishes the spirit of football but also crosses the line in terms of sportsmanship.
