President of the Republic of South Africa and African National Congress Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa is one of politicians and head of states whom are soft talkers and grab people’s attention and trust.

He had made so many promises, more especially during the State of the Nation Address and African National Congress January statement but still fails to deliver.


 

There are promises president of the Republic of South Africa and African National Congress Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa made when he got elected as the president of the Republic of South Africa such as ending unemployment rate and others.

Now the Daily maverick exposes President of the Republic of South Africa and African National Congress Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa that he had announced a ‘massive reading campaign’ in 2019 but now four years later, It never got off the ground.


In his 2019 Medium Term Strategic Framework, Ramaphosa announced “five fundamental goals” for the government over the next 10 years. Ensuring that “every 10-year-old will be able to read for meaning” was one.
