Watch: Durban Driveby shooting at a Car wash in Blake Road Umbilo

Just been another drive-by shooting at the car wash. Corner of Blake road. 7 shots and as far as I could see 1 man down.

Members of SAPS and SSTU members responded to a shooting in progress at a car wash at Blake Road off Umbilo Road .

Upon the members arriving at the scene they have seen a black male lying on the floor with a gun shot wound to his head and bleeding profusely .

Upon interviewing the car wash staff it was said that the both usual customers arrived at the car wash to clean their vehicles.

Upon them alighting the vehicle and suddenly a Silver Grey etois arrived and the passenger a African male in his mid 30’s opened fire with a rifle at both customers was shot and the victims was two African males .

The suspect jump into his getaway vehicle and drove off at high speed.

One customer fell to the ground but the other customer jump into his car with his arm bleeding profusely drove himself straight to the hospital .

Upon viewing the camera it was a Silver Grey etois with two African males and a AK 47 used .

The victim that was at the crime scene was serious and he was rushed to hospital for further medical treatment due to the loss of blood .

Police cordon off the crime scene and all SAPS specialized units was at the crime scene and recovering evidence .

The Police have opened two counts of attempted murder dockets and it will further be further investigated .

Suspects are unknown at this stage .
