Malema Condemns Attack On ANC’s Stan Mathabatha, He Says It’s Self Hate

Economic Freedom Fighters leader, Julius Malema has condemned the attack on ANC Limpopo provincial chairperson, Stan Mathabatha by his own comrades.

Malema said this attack is a reflection of what self-hate is. He adds that Mathabatha is being attacked by ANC comrades as if he is the one who contested president Cyril Ramaphosa at the ANC conference.

Mathabatha and some comrades in Limpopo province switched sides to rally behind Zweli Mkhize, and this is why he is being attacked. Malema said those comrades who are going after Stan are not able to do the same to Zweli Mkhize who was Ramaphosa’s contender.

“The self-hate informs the attack on Stan Mathabatha by the Limpopo people. They attack him as if he’s the one who contested Ramaphosa because it is easy for them to attack one of their own. They will never direct such energy on Zweli, and if anything, Mopani will invite him to speak,” said Julius Malema.

Critics were however quick to remind Malema that he should leave ANC affairs alone, but should focus on getting people to vote for the EFF in 2024 elections. They said things are getting worse and they need ANC to be removed from power.

“Let us leave ANC for a while and focus on getting people to vote for EFF next year. We are currently sitting in darkness as we are in stage 6. We know how bad they are, convince people to your side this is the only other party for black people ease us into it,” they said.

“Who are you directing this message to ANC of EFF? Surely if ANC is tearing itself apart you should be celebrating because it is a gain to EFF. Avoid being like him by staying in the lane of your political party mandate,” others gave the EFF leader free advice.

The self-hate informs the attack on Stan Mathabatha by the Limpopo people. They attack him as if he's the one who contested Ranko because it is easy for them to attack one of their own. They will never direct such energy on Zweli, and if anything, Mopani will invite him to speak.
