RET bigwig, Ace Magashule has come out guns blazing following the constitutional court ruling which stated that Chris Hani’s murderer must be released within 10 days.
This ruling had opened wounds among those who still remember the cold blooded murder of Chris Hani by Janusz Waluz. Ace Magashule said this ruling is a testimony to what the late Steve Biko said about black people being on their own.
An evidently hurt Ace Magashule who was speaking slowly in the 31 seconds video narrated that the judicial system is not favourable to black people, even after 28 years of democracy. Many would have wanted Janusz Waluz to die in prison and never be released since he has never been sympathetic just like all the racist apartheid apologists.
“Black men you are on your own, democrats you are on your own. Freedom fighters you are on your own. Africa awake so are the days of our lives in South Africa. Africa awake, life or death, victory is certain,” said Ace Magashule.
Magashule was also reacting to the Supreme Court of Appeal ruling which stated that Zuma’s parole was unlawful. They said the former president must be send back to prison, which will however not happen because he has already finished his sentence.
Reacting to the message by Ace Magashule, RET champion in Kwa-Zulu Natal province, Nkosentsha Shezi said the utterances made by Ace are befitting. He also questioned what was the difference between judges under a democratic South Africa and those under apartheid.
“What a befitting message from the secretary general Ace Magashule on this dark day in South Africa where our courts are run amok trying to silence Zuma before ANC conference.
What exactly is the difference between our judges and apartheid askaris? Nkosentsha Shezi inquired.
Critics however quoting Ace Magashule’s message out of context said numbers are not on RET comrades side, hence victory cannot be certain at the conference.
