A nurse who have been living with an HIV virus share how she manage to keep her negative safe from the virus.
” It’s simple really, if you are HIV positive, take your ARVs daily and attend all your clinic appointments and do blood checks s scheduled, by taking your treatment everyday you will be virally suppressed and with a sustained, suppressed viral load you cannot sexually transmit HIV to your partner, I am positive and he is negative” , she wrote on her Facebook timeline.
In another post she shared the reason why she have been faithful to the medication for the past six years.
” The reason I’ve been so loyal to these babies for the past 2190 nights ( 6 years), is that I was quick to realize the consequences of playing hide and seek with them, it usually doesn’t end well for anyone who does this” she added.
