Nomcebo Zikode has finally received her flowers for her vocals on the globally successful single, “Jerusalema” by Master KG.
The musician is not only the vocalist that sings on the original version of the single. But the KwaZulu-Natal born songstress was also on the remix of the single with Burna Boy.
While many have celebrated the feats that the single has achieved and the acclaim that was supposed to have been place on Master KG, not many have spoken about the voice of the single.
However, proving that Black Twitter is not put-her-down syndrome and negativity, tweeps took to the timeline to give Nomcebo her flowers and celebrate her contribution to a song with over 50 million views.
Thank you Siz! Someone posted a pic of Nomcebo & credited her for the vocals, & this Washington dude questioned why KG wasn’t mentioned. I corrected him. pic.twitter.com/Q8Pg4ZKtao
