It’s been almost 20 months since rapper Jabulani Tsambo aka HHP passed on, but the feud between his family and his customary wife is still ongoing.
In her Twitter post in March, Lerato Sengadi revealed how she was being taken to court by her late husband’s family.
“On the 6th of March 2020 I am being taken to the Supreme Court of Appeals of the Republic of South Africa by my late husband’s family. #IWillNotCower,” she wrote before also sharing how she hadn’t been awarded anything from her husband’s estate.
“As it stands NOTHING that was awarded 2 me in my previous High Court win was handed over. Hopefully after Friday this messy ordeal will be over. #IWillNotCower,” she continued.

But it’s all came into a end today when she reveals that she wins appeal on HHP marriage case
Supreme Court of Appeal has dismissed the application by the late HHP’s father to appeal the judgement on the rapper & Lerato’s customary marriage being valid.
This means by law, Lerato is now recognized as HHP’s widow.
“Today, 30 April 2020, the Supreme Court of Appeal of South Africa has RULED IN MY FAVOUR in the appeal of Tsambo v Sengadi!
I will not forget this day for as long as I live! It is over! Justice has been served! To God be the Glory. Thokoza bo Gogo le Bo Mkhulu! Motho waka, remember that promise we make that day a gazzilion years ago? We both kept it! Ke go rata until until!
To everybody that has been on this journey with me, praying for me, giving me positive vibes – THANK YOU. When I said #IWillNotCower, I meant it!
Love & Light,
Mma Tsambo ❤️” she continued
