Ngizwe Mchunu has responded to Papa Penny Penny, calling him sensitive and denying accusations of tribalism.
Mchunu said it is actually Penny Penny who is being tribalistic and attempting to divide South Africans through his comments. He maintained that Zulu people have great appreciation for Shangaan people, adding that even well-built or hardworking Zulu men are often referred to as Shangaan as a form of praise.
He further argued that other tribes should not take offence to what Zulu people say, claiming that Zulus themselves do not take offence when they are called uneducated or taxi drivers.
