Liema Pantsi has been crowned the winner of “Big Brother Mzansi: Bazozwa” season 6, walking away with the grand prize of R2 million .
The 24-year-old reality star from Qonce in the Eastern Cape was announced as the winner by host Smash Afrika at the finale in Kampton Park.
A Different Mindset This Time
This is not Pantsi’s first appearance on the show. Many viewers remember her from the S’yamosha season, where she made the bold decision to take R250,000 and exit the game early . The choice divided opinion but demonstrated her ability to think strategically .
This season, Pantsi returned with a different approach. Older, more focused, and with a clearer sense of self, she made it clear from the start that she was not there for romance . “I’m not here for love,” she said, staying true to her word while in a happy relationship outside the house .
Strategic Gameplay
Her time in the house reflected significant growth. She played a calculated game, choosing her moments carefully, building the right alliances, and knowing when to step back . This balance of strategy and self-awareness set her apart from other contestants .
Outside the house, Pantsi has been building her name as a musician, and the win adds to her growing profile .
A Redemption Arc
What once looked like an early exit story has now turned into a redemption arc . After exiting early in her first appearance, Pantsi returned to stay the course and secure the ultimate prize .
She became the third female winner in a row, following Meryl Smit (Season 3), Mbali Tshabalala (Season 4), and Gugu Khathi (Season 5) .
Pantsi’s victory, which earned her 44.88% of the public vote, was celebrated by fans and friends, with social media lighting up in support of the Eastern Cape star .
