The reality TV darling, who once accused Springboks player Makazole Mapimpi of betrayal, appears to have embarked on a new romantic adventure. Whispers are swirling that she’s now linked to a Nigerian man, reportedly on the run from the law in his homeland.

Makazole Mapimpi made headlines when Kanya Mtsaka, the star of “Born Into Fame,” alleged that he was cheating on his wife, Sasha de Souza, with her. Now, fresh buzz suggests that Kanya has redirected her affections toward a man named Opa6ix, whose real name is Opaogun Oluwasegun Akinola, and who is allegedly a wanted figure in Nigeria.

On November 17, 2025, a Twitter user going by @sanelenkosiii shared the scoop about Kanya’s new flame, declaring, “Oh, and my girl Khanya Mtsaka has already moved on to her next target, Opa6ix, who’s wanted by the Nigerian government.”

The user posted videos and photos showing Kanya cozying up at Opa6ix’s place. Reports indicate that Opa6ix is being hunted by Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for conspiracy, computer fraud, and other financial shenanigans.

Kanya, also known as Khanya Mtsaka, was previously reported to the police by Robbie Malinga’s son after allegedly issuing threats against him.

As news of this new romance spread like wildfire, social media erupted with reactions, with many tagging Nigeria’s EFCC to alert them that Opa6ix was residing in South Africa. Others expressed their frustration over the apparent inaction of law enforcement regarding the alleged criminal.

Here’s a taste of the comments:

– @sanele_lz joked, “SAPS is really snoozing on Crime Prevention: Baddie Division – they would totally thrive.”

– @alu_raz pointed out, “So, the SAPS knows exactly where to find him, they have a witness, yet the blue Lambo guy is still out and about.”

– @Ves699493594388 remarked, “These girls are fierce.”

– @DaddyRual quipped, “She’s joined the Jollofina crew; she’s not going back to the PSL anytime soon.”

– @ApindaX noted, “It’s curious that a wanted fugitive is living so freely in South Africa. He’s not even hiding. Where’s Interpol? SAPS? The guy isn’t even sweating lol.”

– @Linekela_Simon commented, “This girl doesn’t waste any time.”

– @KaBediHaiOne argued, “If these guys were truly wanted, there would be a Red Notice from Interpol, and they could be pursued and extradited.”

– @PetiteEbonyGirl added, “These girls fear nothing.”

In essence, the reality star who once accused Makazole Mapimpi of infidelity seems to have found herself entangled with a man whose past raises quite a few eyebrows.
