Sibonelo Nomvalo Exposes Cedrick Nkabinde’s Misleading Statement, Demands He Write a Proper One

MK Party’s Sibonelo Nomvalo has said the committee cannot rely on a misleading statement and insisted that Cedrick Nkabinde must go, write a proper statement, and return when he is ready. Nomvalo made this statement during the Ad Hoc Committee’s proceedings, expressing concern that the information Nkabinde provided was not accurate and could not be trusted.

Nomvalo stressed that the committee’s work depends on honest and reliable testimony, and that if a witness is not ready or has not prepared properly, it is better to withdraw and come back with a corrected statement. He said that the committee cannot move forward with evidence that is unclear or misleading, as it could affect the outcome of the investigation.

Nomvalo’s comments reflect the frustration felt by some MPs about the quality of evidence being presented. He called on Nkabinde to take responsibility for his mistakes and to ensure that his next statement is accurate and complete. This approach is meant to protect the integrity of the committee’s work and to make sure that justice is served based on facts, not confusion or errors.

The MK Party MP’s remarks add to the pressure on Nkabinde and the committee to ensure that all information is checked and that witnesses are fully prepared before giving testimony. Nomvalo’s call for a proper statement highlights the importance of honesty and accountability in parliamentary inquiries.
