Floyd Shivambu Lashes Out at MK Party Spokesperson, Duduzile Zuma in Explosive Clash

EFF deputy president Floyd Shivambu has launched a scathing attack on MK Party spokesperson Nhlamulo Ndhlela and former President Jacob Zuma’s daughter, Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla, accusing them of spreading lies and manipulating Zuma.

Shivambu vehemently denied claims that he had ever plotted to remove Zuma from power, calling the allegations baseless and politically motivated. “There has never been a time when Jacob Zuma directly accused me of trying to overthrow him,” Shivambu told reporters. “He was fed false information by untrustworthy individuals—including the incompetent Nhlamulo Ndhlela, a so-called MK Party leader who is constantly under the influence of alcohol and drugs.”

He went further, alleging that Ndhlela had exploited Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla to amplify the false narrative. “Ndhlela manipulated President Zuma’s daughter, Duduzile, who is easily misled and lacks direction,” Shivambu claimed.

The explosive remarks have intensified tensions within South Africa’s political landscape, exposing rifts between Shivambu and key figures linked to the MK Party. His accusations suggest that Zuma was misled by individuals pushing personal agendas rather than facts.

Neither Ndhlela nor Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla has publicly responded to Shivambu’s allegations, but the outburst has already fueled speculation about deepening divisions among former allies. The confrontation raises questions about shifting political loyalties ahead of potential realignments in the coming months.

Shivambu’s attack goes beyond mere denial—it is a direct challenge to the credibility of his accusers, framing the dispute as part of a broader battle for influence in South Africa’s fractured political arena. As tensions escalate, the fallout could reshape alliances and further destabilize an already volatile climate.
