The Nedbank Cup final between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates on Saturday is anticipated to sell out faster than any other domestic football match in history.
Tickets will be available starting at 10:00 on Monday morning for this highly anticipated clash. General admission tickets have been set at R150.
This marks the second meeting between the Soweto rivals in consecutive weeks, following their encounter at FNB Stadium last weekend, where Pirates secured a 2-1 victory in another sold-out match—a trend in recent years.
Saturday’s final, scheduled for a 15:30 kick-off at Moses Mabhida Stadium, will see Chiefs aiming to end a 10-year trophy drought, while Pirates chase their sixth title in three years.
No details have been provided regarding the number of tickets available for the 56,000-capacity venue. However, the PSL has confirmed that each person will be limited to purchasing a maximum of four tickets.
Tickets will be sold online and at Open Tickets outlets nationwide, including Shoprite and Checkers stores. Hospitality packages will also go on sale Monday morning.

Matches between Chiefs and Pirates have consistently drawn near-capacity crowds at FNB Stadium over the years.
This will be the first Nedbank Cup final between the two sides since the competition’s sponsorship takeover in 2008. Their last final in this tournament was in 2006 when Absa was still the sponsor.
