Nzimande argued that the EFF no longer represents the progressive values it claims to uphold, telling Ndlozi, “You are sitting with the wrong party.” He suggested that the EFF has drifted away from its original mission and become disconnected from the struggles of ordinary South Africans. Citing internal conflicts and a departure from core socialist principles, Nzimande highlighted that several high-profile members have already parted ways with the party.
