South African social media users were left doing a double take after spotting a striking resemblance between local influencer Mihlali Ndamase and American actress Madelyn Cline, best known for her role in the hit series Outer Banks. A video of Cline, casually glamorous, surfaced on Mzansi timelines, sparking a lively discussion about the two women’s uncanny similarities.

Many users were stunned by the likeness, with some initially mistaking Cline for Mihlali. The video left some fans momentarily convinced that Mihlali had undergone a drastic transformation or even bleached her skin. “For a second, I thought Mihlali had bleached her skin, and I was ready to comment, but then I realized it’s not her!” one user tweeted.

From their facial features to their style and mannerisms, the resemblance between Mihlali and Madelyn Cline baffled fans. One amused commenter joked, “Mihlali, when did you become Madelyn Cline? The resemblance is scary!”

Despite the initial confusion, the internet quickly turned the moment into a source of humor. Memes and jokes flooded social media, with South Africans enjoying the playful “plot twist.” “Mzansi can’t handle this kind of plot twist! Mihlali and her American twin are breaking the internet,” quipped another user.

The lighthearted conversation around Mihlali and her “American twin” was all in good fun, with fans on both sides of the world enjoying this surprising doppelgänger moment.
