A Nelson Mandela University student tragically lost his life after a reported dispute with a residence manager.
Thandolwami Ndlovu was allegedly run over and killed by a car driven by the manager. The incident, in which a blue Mercedes Benz hit the victim, is currently being investigated.
The university expressed shock and condemned the senseless act. The residence manager has been charged with culpable homicide, and the university is collaborating with the Humewood police station on the investigation.
Additionally, the university will conduct its own investigation, as per its Service Level Agreement with private off-campus residences.
