Minister of Home Affairs confirms receipt of official request to investigate Miss South Africa contestants citizenship status
In response to the issue regarding Miss South Africa contestant Chidimma Adetshina’s citizenship status, Minister of Home Affairs Leon Schreiber has stated that the department had received an official request from the Miss SA organizers to investigate the citizenship of a contestant.
The request included consent from the individuals involved, and the department is working to verify and compile the necessary information.
Minister Schreiber also mentioned that prior to this request, the department had not received any complaints about the matter.
