“We Will End This Picnic Without A Notice” ANC NEC Member Andile Lungisa

A recent statement by an ANC National Executive Committee member has ignited controversy and sparked a heated debate across South Africa. Andile Lungisa issued a stern warning to state institutions, suggesting that any perceived targeting of ANC individuals would be met with swift and decisive action.

“We were not spectators when we went to the Polokwane Conference. It seems state institutions are targeting individuals once again. We will end this picnic without notice,” the NEC member declared. This statement has raised alarms about the potential for political interference in state operations and the rule of law.

Political analysts and opposition parties have expressed concern over the implications of the statement.

The ANC has yet to officially respond to the NEC member’s statement, but internal sources suggest that there is growing unease within the party about the potential backlash. The ANC has faced increasing scrutiny over allegations of corruption and maladministration, with several high profile members being investigated by state institutions.

Civil society organisations have also weighed in, calling for clarity and reassurance from the ANC leadership.

As South Africa watches closely, the fallout from this controversial warning could have far reaching implications for the country’s political landscape and the integrity of its democratic institutions.

We were not spectators when we went to Polokwane Conference it seams state institutions are targeting individuals once again. We will end this picnic without a notice.
