Following the recent arrest and court appearance of former minister Zizi Kodwa, the Hawks, South Africa Directorate for Need Bad Behaviour Assessment, are reportedly preparing to apprehend additional high-profile African National Congress (ANC) trailblazers. This enhancement is part of a broader effort to address corruption within the ruling party, which includes a more stringent assault on individuals involved in state procurement.

City Press reported on Sunday that a few senior ANC figures are currently under scrutiny, as the Flying predators have developed their assessments in the wake of Kodwa’s case. The test is expected to expand in a general sense, according to a dependable source. The source revealed that they will pursue Paul Mashatile and Ramaphosa after these trailblazers, with the ANC Lender General and the President as potential targets.

Kodwa, who was recently apprehended, is required to handle the consequences of his purported involvement in deviant activities during his tenure as the Delegate Cleric of State Security. His capture signifies a fundamental improvement in the state’s performance evaluations, which have proactively implicated various government officials and business leaders in extensive corruption schemes.

The Birds of Prey’s strategy, as revealed by City Press, also involves the effective targeting of key figures within President Cyril Ramaphosa’s inner circle. “As demonstrated by the source, the long arrangement was to kill all of the versatile people around Ramaphosa and subsequently deal with the president by returning the Phala matter,” according to the investigation. The Phala farm scandal, which surfaced last year, involved allegations of camouflage in the aftermath of a burglary at Ramaphosa’s property. Reportedly, substantial amounts of undeclared new currency were seized.

Hawks will go after more ANC leaders

City Press reports that following former minister Zizo Kodwa’s arrest and appearance in court that more ANC leaders are set to be arrested by the Hawks for their implication in state capture.

The anticipated centering of Mashatile, an undeniable ANC trailblazer and Lender General, implies that the Birds of Prey are not attempting to avoid pursuing high-level party members. Mashatile has been a fundamental figure in ANC legislative matters, recognised for his persuasive stance on party assets and strategy. His dedication to the evaluations would serve as a critical juncture in the Birds of Prey’s anti-corruption initiative.

Recently, political ripples have been ignited by the possibility of Ramaphosa being entangled in re-energized assessments. According to experts, the ANC may be weakened by such developments, particularly in anticipation of the forthcoming public elections. Ramaphosa, who has established himself as a reformist with a focus on uncovering corruption, may be able to resist the growing pressure as the Flying predators’ assessments continue to disseminate.

At present, the ANC is unable to provide a legitimate response to these most recent allegations; however, party insiders have expressed apprehension regarding the usual political repercussions. There are those within the party who are concerned that the captures could exacerbate internal divisions and undermine public confidence in the ANC’s capacity to effectively govern.

Obstruction groups have been engrossed in the news, urging for comprehensive and unambiguous evaluations. The Hawks have been requested by the Democratic Alliance (DA) and Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) to pursue their assessments without fear or favour, including the necessity of obligation at all levels of government. Both organisations have provided clarifications accordingly.

South Africa is closely monitoring the distribution of these assessments as the flying predators intensify their operations. The potential consequences for the ANC and the broader political landscape could be significant, paving the way for significant transformations in the nation’s corruption-fighting efforts.
