Four suspects have just been shot dead after a confrontation with KZN police in the Camperdown area.
The team – led by the DPCI provincial tracking team and anti-gang unit, with members from Durban TRT, SAPS PMB K9, Metro Police ORS and Magma Security and Investigations – managed to locate the gang in a rented room.
They were wanted in connection with CIT robberies.
Three guns have been recovered at the scene and provincial commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi arrives at the active scene.
