AKA Murder: Six people arrested

Local police have arrested six suspects for the murder of Kiernan “AKA” Forbes, and his friend Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane on 10 February 2023 in Durban.

AKA MURDER SUSPECTS ARRESTED

According to the police statement, the six suspects include a coordinator, two shooters, two spotters and the organiser of firearms and vehicles.

Police said four vehicles and a firearm and cartridges have been found. Two of the cars were hired from an individual.

A few of the six suspects were hiding in a house in Eswatini. Police made the first arrest on 22 April, followed by more arrests on 24 October, 14 December, and 24 February.

One suspect is still on the run.
