Malibongwe Prince “Mjolisi” Gwala, 20 years old and originally from Emzumbe, KwaZulu-Natal, is a MASKANDI celebrity who is currently taken.

Baba ka Enzo’s lobola was just paid in full by the artist for his Msinga longtime sweetheart, 22-year-old Nomali Dlamini. Some of his supporters were understandably upset by this choice because they thought he should wait until he was older before starting a family. They also complained that the woman he was marrying was too old for him.

On his Facebook page, they made a toxic environment for him. In the words of supporter Nosipho Zwane: “Mjolisi’s wife is older than him, but we congratulate him on his 1989 wife.”

Mzimazisi Ndamase has stated, “Mjolisi is getting married at a young age simply because the church influenced him.” What’s the point of his attending to church now, when he’s still a kid?

Khalazimnike Chiya remarked, “It’s the first time I see a 2K paying lobola for someone born in the 1980s.” Mjolisi, though, seemed unmoved by the criticism of his detractors. He said, “I realize there will always be different points of view among people.

I make my own choices, and nobody has the right to interfere with my private life, therefore I don’t get why people are so upset with me for this. Please accept my apologies, even though I remain convinced that the decision I took was correct and will prove beneficial to me in the long run. If I have upset anyone, please accept my apologies.

He assured the Daily Sun there would be no publicity stunt here. According to Mjolisi, he and Nomali Dlamini have been together for three years and have joint custody of a one-year-old child.

I knew from the moment we met that she was the one for me. Thanks to my fundraising efforts, I was able to buy lobola at cost. Some may see this as an attention-seeking publicity gimmick, but I want you to know that’s not the case. Already, I feel much better. We could have waited a few more years if we wanted to, but we were both prepared.
