“He Must Be Fired”- Mzansi React to a Video Of White Traffic Cop who Chased & Beat a Black Man

One of the problems that we are facing here in South Africa is people who think they own the law, mostly police and traffic officers. We have seen so many reports about law enforcers who take the law into their own hands. Such people think they own the law and they can abuse people just because they are the ones who enforce it. A few weeks ago, we saw a report about a police officer who shot and killed his friend with a work firearm after they had an argument.

Recently, there is another trending video that is leaving black people so enraged: a video of a white traffic officer who allegedly beat up a black man for drinking without a license. The duty of a traffic officer is to make sure that the rules of the road are being followed, but this one took the matter above his authority and went to the extent of beating up a driver; there are even pictures that show that the man was badly hurt.

After it was posted on social media, people are calling for this traffic office to be arrested; some are even trying to make this a race battle, claiming that if the driver was a white man, he was not going to chase him and beat him up like this. Some are calling for the EFF to intervene in this matter so that legal charges can be made against this white traffic officer. The brother of the man who was beaten listed it on social media, asking people to help him take legal measures against the white man.

A man was allegedly assaulted by a traffic officer for driving without a license in Mokopane, Limpopo on Wednesday afternoon.

Opinion:

In my view, the traffic officer and the black man might have had an argument that led to them exchanging bad words, and the white man happened to catch strung. Legal measures should be taken against this man; he is a law enforcer, but what he did was beyond his authority. He must be arrested for his actions.
