Mk Party Had A Violent, Brutal Protest, They Even Threatened To Burn Down The IEC Offices, See Why

The actions of the MK Party outside the IEC headquarters are completely unacceptable and go against the principles of democracy and the rule of law. It is alarming that a political party, led by a former president of the country, would resort to such violent and criminal behavior in order to gain power.

The fact that they arrived unannounced and without seeking prior permission shows a complete disregard for the law and a lack of respect for the institution they were protesting against. The manhandling of staff and the making of violent threats is inexcusable and should be condemned in the strongest terms.

The demands for Jacob Zuma to be allowed to be president again, despite the fact that the constitution does not allow for it, is a clear indication that the MK Party has no regard for the constitution or for the democratic process.

The threats to burn down the IEC offices and to make the country ungovernable are a direct attack on the stability and peace of the nation. It is clear that the MK Party is not interested in participating in the democratic process, but rather seeks to achieve power through thuggery and violence.

It is imperative that the authorities take swift and decisive action against the MK Party and hold those responsible for the violent protest accountable for their actions. The people of South Africa deserve to live in a country where the rule of law is upheld and where political parties participate in the democratic process in a peaceful and respectful manner.
