Last night, 29 January 2024, it is alleged that Maluleke and another unnamed person were at Engen Garage near Giant Stadium when a shooting occurred and both of them were shot during the ordeal. The suspect(s) immediately fled after the incident.
South African Police Service members and emergency medical services were summoned to the scene, on arrival, Maluleke was declared deceased and his partner was transported to the hospital to receive medical treatment. A case of murder and attempted murder has been opened.
Maluleke was an upcoming local disc jokey and he went by the name ‘Dj Skinny Deep’, his death came as a shock to many of his supporters, friends and family.
