Khosi Twala, the winner of the hit reality show Big Brother Titans, has been nominated for the breakout star award at the upcoming South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs). The 26-year-old journalist, broadcaster, beauty influencer, fitness fanatic and Instagram model has been making waves in the entertainment industry since her victory on the show in July 2023.

Khosi Twala, whose full name is Makhosazane Twala, was born on 10 August 1997 in Newcastle, Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa. She is a member of the Zulu tribe and currently resides in Johannesburg, South Africa. She attended Lincoln Heights Secondary School and later pursued her higher education at the University of the Free State, Oakfields College, and the University of Johannesburg, where she completed her postgraduate studies in 2021.

Twala developed an interest in journalism at the age of eight, and has since worked as a reporter, presenter and producer for various media outlets, including SABC, eNCA, and Power FM. She is also the CEO of Active Lifestyle Brands and Cross Over Advertising, and the founder of Good Deeds Foundation, a non-profit organization that aims to empower and uplift the youth and women in South Africa.

Twala has also competed in several beauty pageants, such as Miss Free State SA (2017), Biogen Face of Fitness (2020), and Miss Regal International South Africa (2021). She is known for her stunning hourglass body, which she flaunts on her Instagram account, where she has over 3 million followers. She is also a fitness guru, who shares her workout routines and tips with her fans.

Twala rose to fame after participating in the first season of Big Brother Titans, a reality show that featured 20 contestants from different African countries living together in a house for 90 days. Twala was one of the most popular and controversial housemates, who entertained the viewers with her charisma, humor, drama and romance. She was also involved in several tasks, challenges and alliances and eventually emerged as the winner of the show, taking home the grand prize of R2 million.

Since then, Twala has been busy with various projects and endorsements, such as hosting her own talk show, Khosi Live, on DSTV, launching her own clothing line, Yo-highness K, collaborating with other celebrities and influencers, and appearing on several magazines and billboards. She has also been nominated for the breakout star award at the SAFTAs, which recognizes the most promising and talented newcomer in the film and television industry. The award ceremony will take place on 15 December 2023, and Twala is one of the front runners to win the coveted trophy.

Twala has expressed her gratitude and excitement for the nomination, and thanked her fans, who call themselves Khosi Reigns, for their love and support. She said that she is humbled and honored to be recognized for her work, and that she hopes to inspire and motivate other young people to pursue their dreams. She also said that she is looking forward to the award night, and that she has a surprise for her fans.

Khosi Twala is undoubtedly one of the rising stars of South Africa, who has proven her versatility and talent in various fields. She is a role model for many, and a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry. She is also a proud representative of her culture and heritage, and a voice for the youth and women of her country. She is definitely one to watch out for in the future.
