Popularly known as “Zim Dollar” or “Zimdola,” Zimiphi Biyela has been a presenter at SABC’s Ukhozi FM for more than ten years. During that time, she has established her brand and become well-known for the outstanding work she performs on radio as well as at events she presents across the nation.
As a result of her inherent ability to connect with others, Zimiphi has achieved great success. Her skills don’t end there, though. Zimiphi is a cast member of the SABC1 drama series Uzalo, which has won numerous awards.
With the Uzalo family, she has achieved so much in her acting career. Zimiphi has had a truly blessed year after landing a significant part in the most popular drama series, eHostela, which airs on Mzansi Magic channel 161.
Also starting this year were a lot of new ventures.
Zimiphi says that she is a lady who is determined to make a difference in people’s lives, thus being selected as the brand ambassador of Prince funeral life cover has been an honor for her.
Zimiphi also serves as the editor of a recently published magazine in the nation. It includes African art and music. For Ms. Biyela, though, the sky is the limit.
She hosts Sgiya Ngengoma on Ukhozi FM every Saturday from 9 am to 12 pm and Sbhukuda Kwesumanzonzo every Thursday from 11 pm to 2 am.
