It is October, this was the last month for the former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper and captain was Senzo Meyiwa on earth, nine years ago, the KwaZulu-Natal born soccer star tragically lost his life at the hands of criminals who shot and killed him in what is alleged to be a robbery that went wrong, till this day, it has not been prove who was really pulled the trigger to release the bullet that killed Senzo, but the North Gauteng High Court under Judge Ratha Mokgoatlheng is currently busy with the five men accused of the murder.

After having spent a couple of weeks on the witness stand, Constable Sizwe Zungu who says he was at the Vosloorus hostel on the 26th of October 2014 when the accused came back from the crime scene has once again insisted that the court has the right men since he was with them and remembers what they were wearing and what they did when they got back from killing Senzo.

Speaking during the re-examination, Zungu Said without any doubt that the men who are being tried are the ones he was with at the hostel on the night Meyiwa was shot and killed, this is after he was asked how sure he is that the accused me are those he was with.

“What I am certain of is that the accused in the dock are the men I was with at the hostel,” he said.

Accused number 2 was seen shaking his head in disagreement with what Zungu was saying about his beard, he was making it clear that the person who is depicted on the identity kit is not him based o the fact that the person is bearded while he is not.

Just before the court adjourned for tea break, Zungu Said without doubt that even though accused 2, sitting in the dock, may not have the mouche/jazz dab (beard of the lower lip) he is certain that is accused 2 and since 2014 he may have shaven it.

Zungu have since been excuses after he completed giving his testimony, the court procedings continues with a new client.
