South African rapper and TV presenter Jub Jub has become a hot topic on Twitter in South Africa after he was released on R10,000 bail after being arrested for alleged charges of rape, attempted murder, and assault earlier this afternoon (Thursday 27th July).
It was initially reported that the charges against Jub Jub were reported by an unnamed South African celebrity, which led many South Africans on Twitter to start speculating about the identity of the person involved, but recent reports have revealed that popular South African actress Amanda Du Pont is allegedly the individual who pressed the serious charges against Jub Jub.
The news has sparked considerable attention on social media with many expressing their support for Amanda Du Pont, and the official Twitter account of “Women For Change” even posted a message showing solidarity with the actress after she allegedly pressed charges against Jub Jub.
